Quinn is frustrated that her plan to frame Shelby isn’t working (because Puck removed all the incriminating things Quinn planted in Shelby’s apartment.) She knows that getting closer to Shelby means getting closer to Beth, so Quinn attempts to join Shelby’s group.
Puck reveals Quinn’s plan to Shelby while visiting her at home, drowning in his guilt. He cries, completely broken about it. Shelby doesn’t immediately react, but later sends a lot of glares in Quinn’s direction.
Quinn shows up at Shelby’s and questions why she hasn’t allowed her to join her group yet. Shelby tells her she knows what she has done, and they argue about motherhood until Shelby kicks her out, but Quinn vows to get her child back.

Class President speech time. Hockey Player (Rick the Stick) promises that teachers have to answer to students. Brittany promises TVs and Topless Tuesdays. Kurt promises a violence-free school (a ban of dodgeball.) Rachel withdraws, knowing how much she has hurt Kurt, and pledges her vote for him.
Kurt and Rachel make up. Rachel apologizes and Kurt accepts. She was being a diva, feels terrible, missed his friendship, will support him always, etc.
Rachel asks Shelby to write (well, approve what Rachel already wrote) a recommendation letter for her for NYADA. Shelby tells Rachel how proud she is of her. Rachel is moved by it, and asks Shelby to write a real letter herself. Shelby agrees. It’s a nice moment between them.

Predictably, Sectionals this year has pitted New Directions against Shelby’s group, The Troubletones. Will & Shelby agree to not be bitchy to one another and want to use the competition to bring out the best amongst their students. They demonstrate with a mashup duet of “You & I” / “Just You & I.” They then declare there will be a McKinley mash-off between the 2 clubs.
Troubletones rehearsal: Mercedes wants to do Adele for their mashup, and nominates herself as President of the group, confirmed by majority vote. Santana, of course, does not vote for her, nor does Brittany. Santana agrees to play fair - at least, she claims to. Instead, she buries Finn in trash talk of epic proportions. Finn’s response? Tells her to come out of the closet so she’ll stop trying to make everyone miserable like herself.
Mash-Off time! New Directions with Hall & Oates’ “Maneater” / “You Make My Dreams Come True.” The guys wear 80’s mustaches. The girls handle the ‘You Make My Dreams Come True’ part, and the boys do the ‘Maneater’ parts. Rory and Quinn both have solo lines.
The Troubletones perform their “Rumour Has It” / “Someone Like You” mashup, with Mercedes, Santana, and Brittany getting solo lines.

Someone who overheard Finn tell Santana to come out told one of the other Congress candidates. He is now using “Sue supports lesbians” in their campaign, and hints that Sue may be a lesbian. He also talks about how Sue has a lesbian for a head cheerleader, with photos of Santana used as his mudslinging. Santana is devastated.
Santana barely makes it through the Adele mashup without breaking down. Seeing Finn in the audience, she loses it, beyond pissed that he’s outed her to the entire world, and slaps the shit out of him. |

Let's just say that not everyone is enthused about Blaine joining New Directions. And they won't be afraid to let their grievances be heard. Plus, could we possibly be meeting a member of Santana's family soon? Glee producers are looking for a guest star (possibly recurring) that's described as a Latin beauty. Maybe Santana (Naya Rivera) brings Brittany (Heather Morris) home to meet the parents? Brittan fans can only hope.

Their big episode is coming up real quick (Nov.  , and we can reveal that Tina Turner is around for an important physical moment between Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). Confusing but fabulous tidbit, right? |

SPOILER ROUND-UP (3X05 KLAINE SCENE)
There’ll probably be more spoilers throughout the day and such, but this is basically everything we got overnight, I’m pretty sure.
“Okay, so Kurt pushed Blaine in the back seat of the car because he was drunk. Blaine held onto Kurt and pulled him in the car with him so that Blaine was lying down like you would on a bed, straight across. And Kurt was on top of him.” “There was groping and touching and deep, deep kissing” - x
It was Blaine hair, but not. It was in fact gelled back, but not zip lock tight. the front had some smoothed out waves. It was how Blaine should be doing his hair daily if he wants to keep up with the gel” - x
“I’m pretty sure that after the fight, they leave. That was the last thing that they filmed and it was Blaine walking in the opposite direction of the bar. After they were done filming, Darren yelled out “I’ll see you guys at Dalton.” - x
“Blaine seemed much of both (angry or hurt and upset). He looked angered at Kurt but because Darren is the most fucking amazing actor and can shine with any emotion, you could see the hurt and pain. And he was slightly drunk, so take that into play. But, his actions and body motions showed a lot. He waved his arms around and started rubbing his eyes/face.” - x
“The scene ends with Blaine walking out of the parking lot after the fight. No happy endings in this scene, only angst. They didn’t film how they got home, or anything after that.” - x
“We won’t even remember tomorrow” line and then says the lust line. That is when Blaine gets out of the car and starts walking around it until he is by the trunk. Kurt yells “where are you going?”. I’m not sure if he replied back to that, but he then says the spontaneous and fun line. Kurt just stands there by the car door and Blaine walks out of the parking lot. He doesn’t go back into the bar. Then the scene ended” - x

More words and then it looked like Blaine may started to tug on Kurt’s clothes. But then Chris got out of the car and started yelling at Blaine who was still laying down in the car. I could hear something like “You wont even remember tomorrow” Blaine got out and walked. Kurt asked where he was going “sorry if i was trying to be fun and spontaneous & fun”” - x

“Blaine was wearing dark blue skinny jeans (rolled up of course), those funny Blaine shoes with no socks, a button down with the sleeves rolled up, and a vest with a bow tie. I’m thinking that is about right. The colors for the top part were creams, whites, browns, and yellows. Oh yeah, Blaine’s tie was fucking undone. Kurt had on some really nice ass tight black skinny jeans, tall black boots, and it looked like a greyish button down with some sort of cape like thing on his back. Jonathan Groff, in all his Groff-iness, will be back on Glee. Take a moment to praise Ryan Murphy and Co., and then keep reading for exclusive details on The Groff’s return, plus the latest on who is graduating…
We were on set of Glee today for a big group musical number (No. 300!), and we chatted with Murphy and the cast about what’s coming up for the so far stellar season three. And oh-so-casually we almost missed it, Ryan dropped that Jonathan Groff would be returning as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline!
We did a little more snooping behind the scenes, and got this exclusive scoop: Groff will be doing four episodes, leading up to the big Nationals face off! Also, he’ll have stories with Alex from The Glee
Project.

Also on set today was new Glee castmember Damian McGinty, who was as adorable in person as he will surely be on the show. ”First I want to thank everybody because they’ve been incredible,” Damian says before admitting he was “really scared” on his first day. “They’ve been so nice and so welcoming and I fit in really well.”
While he wouldn’t say much about his character Rory Flanagan, Damian reveals, “He’s having a hard time fitting it and getting bullied a lot. He’s very young and very happy.” You could tell how much the cast loved Damian as they laughed and clapped after almost everything he said. Didn’t we tell you? Adorable.
Ryan & Co. also loved Glee Project runner-up Lindsay so much that she’s coming back for another guest spot on the show! “Lindsay’s coming back in episode eight,” Ryan says. “She’s sort of the Rachel of her school and she’s so amazing. She will be competing against our groups.”
As for Damian’s co-winner Samuel, Ryan says, “Sam is probably going to come in around episode ten or eleven, probably after the Christmas break.” Yes, you will have to wait at least another two months to see those beautiful dreads again.
Finally, Alex, whom Ryan calls “amazing,” is “going to be the love child of Kurt and Mercedes and will turn to them for much advice.” He will also share “many scenes” with Groff. A member of VA perhaps?
Other bits of scoop you might find interesting:
Someone we found very surprising was singing with the rival glee club started by Shelby Corcoran (Idina Menzel). Seriously, of all the people from New Directions we thought might switch over, this person was nowhere near our top guesses.
The rival group was in the choir room performing an Adele mashup of “Rumor Has It” and “Someone Like You”, and it was so awesome it’ll melt your ears off when you hear it. We’d go as far to say it was one of the best mashups ever.
A particular Adele song seemed to be dedicated from one person to another during a solo. Can’t say much more about that.
